Statement of Faith
At Western Institution of Nassau Bible College, we affirm the historic Christian faith as revealed in the Holy Scriptures and proclaimed through the Church of Jesus Christ. Our commitment is to glorify God through faithful study, worship, and service in accordance with His Word. At Western Institution of Nassau Bible College we believe the following
The Word of God
We believe that the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It reveals God’s truth for all generations and stands as the final rule for faith, conduct, and doctrine.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105)
The Triune God
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—co-equal and co-eternal in power and glory. The Father is the Creator and Sustainer of all; the Son, Jesus Christ, is the eternal Word made flesh who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, and will return in glory; and the Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, empowers, and sanctifies believers for godly living and service.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1–14; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Humanity and Salvation
We believe that all people are created in the image of God yet have fallen into sin and are separated from Him. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through His atoning death and resurrection, believers are justified, adopted into God’s family, and given eternal life by the Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23–24; Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:4–7)
The Church and the Kingdom of God
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers across every nation and generation, called to worship God, make disciples, and bear witness to the gospel. We affirm the hope of Christ’s return, the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and the promise of eternal life in the new heaven and new earth where God reigns forever.
(Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 4:11–16; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 21:1–4)
